Philisters Obunga

Philisters Obunga is an Institutional and organization resilience expert and a certified Human Resource Professional ( CHRP) . She has served as a Human Resources and Program Administration Manager with over 17 years progressive experience in in both International and local organizations across industries in both not-for profit as well as for profit. Philisters has a strong track record in strategy development, organizational design, job evaluation, HR audits, performance management, compensation and rewards, and policy reviews among others. She has served as City Lead for Kisumu in the development of Urban Resilience Strategies for five cities in Kenya through World Bank funding under the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development. She has served in boards and committees and is currently serving on the HR and Appeal Committee of FairTrade Africa.

Qualification

Philisters is a PhD. Candidate in HRM at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from JKUAT, Bachelor degree in Library and Information Studies from University of South Africa and Diploma in Business Management  from Kenya Institute of Management.
